Default Loose power

Anybody had any experience with 4G6s loose power during flight?. Like the battery dead suddenly.
I check the wires (batt to ESC, ESC to motor etc), everything looks ok. No cold solder.
During flight, suddenly, no power at all. Go directly to ground. Then the heli reinitialize.
ESC problem? My battery is in good condition.

I am resoldering the batt wire at ESC, it looks suspicious.
But I don't have time to test it.

If it was the battery connection, the motor would have to re-arm and wouldn't come back instantly as you describe. Also, I don't know about your particular ESC and motor but on many combinations, the motor will beep a few times when first connected to indicate that it has powered up and initialized. If yours does that normally on startup as well and yet you don't hear it when it flakes out and comes back on-line, you can tell that it is not the ESC losing power that is the problem.

I had the exact same problem with the ESC and BL motor on my Mini. The motor would cut out and then a split second later it would come back to life. In my case I had a servo connector between the ESC and motor and after removing it and direct soldering the ESC to the motor, the problem went away.

I'm thinking of switching to using 3-pin polarized Micro-Deans connectors because I like being able to disconnect and remove the RX without having it tethered to the motor and nothing makes as solid of an electrical connection as Deans connectors.
