Default Hit a tree today

Oh my ! LOL I was flying my F450 today in my back field to close to the hedge row I guess. My quad hickups once in a while and it went crazy for a second ,self leveled and then few into the tree. All I could see on my monitor was branches. This dam thing is built tough. It beat the crap out if the tree limbs and come out flying. . then I got it home and flipped into manual mode looped it and crashed it in the weeds, oops. Picked it up and it still fly's. I'll be building my new disco soon so I'm pushing the limits with this quad. having fun anfpd pushing the pucker factor. Dam back when I'd crash a C.P Heli it would cost over $300 to fix. I love these things.

Have done that a few times. Here is a good one. Picked it back up and flew a couple more batteries. [ame]http://youtu.be/l_wTBI9mX40[/ame]

At least you're not this guy. I'd rather get my quad stuck in a tall tree! LoL

I was guessing it was a Phantom too, but it's hard to tell with him banging the sticks around.

With the motor noise and the TX he tossed I'd venture it was a Phantom. Looks like he was in manual mode with the jittering around it was doing. If you look at the trees and the grass, there was no wind. Combine that with flying so close to the ground just before he hit the groom, it would also appear to be caught up in it's own downwash leading to ground effect issues.

On top of everything else he needed to be a lot closer to the couple so he could see better where the Phantom was in relation to the couple. Actually he should have NOT done this stunt. Best to leave the trick shots to the pros.

I would have planted my foot firmly between his legs and kicked him to Mars. Idiot...

Speaking of trees and flying in to them, I had a self induced run in with the big old oak tree out back with my Phantom. Cleaned off the props and got back in the air. DJI builds some tough birds.

Default crashing

WELL HITTING A TREE IS One thing but the Bride and Groom WTF was he thinking?? He sure ruined that day, definitely didn' have any sence to learn how to fly 1st. Its fine to crash once in a while but not if it involves bodily harm.
