Default E-Flite eflrg110hl gyro on T-rex 250

So, I'm working on a budget built for a T-rex 250 and I've got an extra E-flite 110 gyro off of a Blade 400 I'm tempted to installed to get it up in the air. I know this is a very limited gyro but I'm wondering if theres any reason not to use it temporarily until I find a proper gyro for it.

I can pair it with an extra ds75 servo I've got from the same 400. Or, a 290g, or Hitec 5084 could also be used if needed.

Comments?

I tried the GY110 on my gaui 200. Let me just say, It made me realize why I replaced it on my 400.

Tail drift or wag, then blowout on loops and rolls. I'm sure I could have dialed it in better, but I could just sense it lacking.

It is great for hover and scale flying, I just had to get used to hovering with rudder again.

If you are just doing some basic forward flight practice than you'll be fine with it. I would use the 290g though instead of the ds75.

These e-flight gyros are poorly made. For example, wiggle the wires and take notice of the board inside wiggling also. Lol. That's the last thing you want a gyro doing is banging around inside its own case.

Take that gyro, and remove the board inside. Now you can use the empty case as a box for those spare screws for your heli.

Come on it's not that bad. Whats wrong of gluing the gyro into that case. Drift can be solved by
subtrim while looking at servo horn once it stay one spot then adjust the linkage of the tail servo
linkage for no drift. It isn't that bad.
