Default Tail boom strike

Hi guys,

Had a tail boom strike today whilst doing a backflip with the 600NP, it only dented the top of the boom and was able to land it after it stopped freeking out whilst the blades centred again.
I am using the hard dampeners and the tube to stiffen it up with the align carbon blades, I am guessing the dampeners need replacing but is there anything else i might be overlooking here?

Are your blades tight enough in the blade grips? How much cyclic pitch do you have?

Loose blade grips will cause the mains to move enough to hit the boom. A quick change in pitch (flip) wants the blades to stall while the head is trying to overcome the torque. This causes the blades to move in the grips.
