I have a Goblin 500 and probably going to add Logo 550 sometime soon
What are you looking for specifically? May get a little more lean toward 1 if people knew what you want from it. Only slight size diff, so not limited in field between 2, both 6s, little more float or smack?

Never had a Gobby but I love my LOGO600sx ...

I would not be surprised if the G500 and L550 would come in at the same weight , and you can see the disk difference ...

easy...Mikado products, more expensive but look where it's made don't get me wrong, my signature bird is made in China and certainly RC prices are more reasonable because of their contribution to the hobby.. Look what Align has done for helis (yes positive)

Dont think Logo more expensive, similar in cost. The crash cost is what it all comes down to. Arguably, the Goblin may cost more in certain crash, but , I crashed my Gobby and it barely sustained damage. With that being said, I had a Logo 400 in past and a mild crash added up quick where my Gobby took it like a trooper. All crashes will be different of course, but I'm describing mild as in No blade damage. My logo in similar crash needed boom, gear, struts, fins, lg,canopy. My gobby needed, lg, washout arms, links, main gear. Canopy ,boom survived! They may be more expensive to replace but, are less fragile so they hold up better.
JMHO, but all things considered, I feel they are both very similar as far as cost of replacement/crash cost. Other pro/con, Logo parts only 1 supplier, Gobby, multiple suppliers even some LHS carry them now

That's what I was thinking, however none of my LHS stock Goblin or Logo. Who stocks both? My LHS really only "Stocks" Blade Heli's. Align parts take 24 hours that I can order through them and pick up next day. Now for Logo or Goblin parts...who knows.

And the people who have both just say to buy both? No Favorite???

Logo Ready heli only, and most online shops carry Goblin, except ready heli

Ok, since you've asked, my favourite between the two is the 550SX.
The 550SX is better than the G500 because it has a lighter disc loading and the ability to run a range of different HS. There is no denying the G500 is a better looking heli though.

My Goblin 500 is fly with large 5000mah pack, large blade (515mm Spinblade) for a while and I fly it more than with my Logo 600SX (has been cut down to 550-size). It's more aggressive and has more lock-in feeling than Logo. Logo sometime is so floaty and too smooth to fly.

Just look at that goblin and tell me it's not the most BEUTIFUL heli that you have ever seen. Go with the goblin bud, just MHO. I love mine and would trade it for anything, she's my baby, lol

Couldn't you just tie a brick to the Logo for the same effect?

Used to fly my logo with 6000mah 6S battery from my DJI S800 when feel boring to fly it.

Default Goblin Vs. Logo

I've owned both a goblin 630/700 and the 600sx. They are both great. The logo flew better in general, especially on tail/piro. But the goblin looked great, sounded great, was easy to get parts for, and cheaper to keep in the air because it is so durable. Parts availability in particular was a problem for the logo. I think if you own one, make sure you have two of them or at least make sure it's not your only big Heli.

My say is buy a RC helicopter for how it flies, looks are secondary. If it flies well then you will have fun with it. I tell you it's not only in the set up, the mechanics and design are a big part of how a heli flies.

Problem is "how it flies" is highly subjective. And requires that you pretty much need to buy each model to find out. Every opinion comes with a given skill level and perspective. So no one is right or wrong.

They all fly great!!! Its how well the pilot can control any given helicopter.
