Default SimStream whats the difference

Ok so people are asking me what the difference is between SimStream wireless simulator dongle and the oppositions.
Well basically Phoenix and other simulator software needs the signal from the transmitter to be in the PPM format.

With the oppositions dongle you have to supply your own receiver. the signal comes from your transmitter and is received by the receiver you have supplied. It is then split into 6 or 7 separate channels and fed to the dongle where some clever firmware turns it into the PPM format Phoenix needs.

With SimStream a receiver is included in the price. This clever receiver instead of sending out 6 or 7 different channels which need to be altered, it sends out one series of signals called Sum PPM. This is read directly by Phoenix.

The advantage of this method is the fact that when switching from wired to wireless with SimStream no re-assigning of channels in the sim software is necessary.
In fact with Futaba generally no altering of any settings is necessary, however with spectrum just a simple stick recalibration is necessary, just to let Phoenix know the stick throws.

This means that with SimStream you can get setup and running in minutes!

Other systems may take longer while you mess around with channel assignment.
