Default Vcontrol App Wish List

I love my Vcontrol. But how nice would it be to be able to do updates to both the vcontrol and neo via WIFI! I imagine that the developers are talented enough to design a wifi module that plugs into the usb port of the vcontrol. Then via home wifi or an App available for your smart phone, be able to perform updates. Very similar to what hobbywing has done with the new V4 units.

Hi,

this wish can become true but time will tell.
I've heard about it from the devs.

Now, you only can see and change the settings in Vcontrol when your bird is powered up and bind.
If you would like to compare or change some settings, you've got to power up all these birds. One by one.
Personally, I would like to change or walk through all the settings of any bird in the Vcontrol. Make some changes if necessary, and on first connection with the bird, Vcontrol asks if you would like to upload the changed settings to the vbar.

Its a thought.

I agree.... It would be a lot easier to be able to do that....

And to add to that, I don't know how many times I need to know something about a setup on one of the Helis and find it annoying that I need to power that Heli up.....

+1 on this. I was keeping a spreadsheet of all my settings, but it's becoming a mission keeping them up-to-date. I've asked Mikado about the structure of the saved settings file, but I don't see them coming back to me on that one.

I've started writing an app to manage the VBC and upload flight logs to rcheli.club. I'm working on the the bit that analyses the log files for issues and I also want a log rewriter for the case where you rename batteries/models and the logs are out of sync.

It's not intended to do analysis like Linus's app and there's no local store. It's just a manager for those who prefer not going onto the file system.

senzafine likes this.

I would like to see a smaller vbar neo. Had to install one in a protos 380 and is a very tight. The brain that it replaced was half the size and still had all the sensors for rescue.

Duel/triple rates and expo on a switch independent of banks.
Of course we can do this with agility in banks but I like to use my banks for hs and gains. I feel that vbc is the only computer radio that dosnt have this basic
functionality. I've mentioned this before and I don't think I'm the only one that misses triple rates/ expo on a switch.

When setting a control knob to a setting parameter would like to be able to set a minimum and maximum setting so not possible to go out of a flyable range of that setting.
