What an awesome idea...for any camera! Maybe put a strip of dense weather strip on the bottom of the skids to give room for the velcro?

i added foam tape to the bottom of the skids plates and the tipping problem was solved

That is a great ideal. In place of the zip ties you can run a bead of hot glue on the landing gear a base plate. Once again great ideal.

Zip ties are cheap and quick and easy to remove it , at least if it were to crash the zip tie would brake ,field repair would be faster as well.... Plus if i want to remove to just fly without the extra weight ,a few snips and it is off......I could also use Velcro straps ,Hummmm (not a bad idea Steve !! Good thinkin )
