be careful - I think edge and switch 523 have 12 mm root. The blade grips only allow for 10 mm roots.

yes - it can easy handle even longer blades (such as 530 - 540). Problem simply is the limit about 10 mm root. Because of that I did take one model and actually cut the tail boom shorter and used the Goblin 500 tail belt.
If I would still fly the HD I would get a better swash plate and a different head to allow for other blade options.
