There are a couple discussions about batteries, but I run two different types. I have a couple sets of the Hyperion vx g3 4200mah 6s and a Voltz 12s 3700mAh stock pack. I know many run bigger 5000mah packs but the weight is noticed.

I am running 12s 4K packs in my Logo 600se, and so I was thinking about the same for the E7, but I was thinking that the motor would be hard on them, so maybe I should go with 5K packs.

I'm not familiar with that particular Xera motor. Is it one of their 10K watt motors?

That motor is capable of pulling 10,000 watts. If I were using that motor I'd want good quality 4500 to 5000 65C as a minimum.

I'm running a Xera 4530-500 (Black Mamba) in my E7. I have tried different packs in the past but I'm currently flying TP 6s 4400 65c, these feel much better than 5000s and I did not really loose any flight time. I get just over 4 minutes with this setup at just over 2150RPM and 13-14 degrees of pitch. My flying style is smack 3d and big air fast (power hungry )
