Default CR and SL saved my heli today

I just came in from trying to test my Trex 500 after having replaced tail rotor bearings.
It started out great flying nice. Then I had her up about 60 feet and did 3-4 piros with a quick stop to move onto another manuever and the tail slowly started going CCW, I gave it right stick and it continued. Then I lost all tail authority and she pitched over, it appeared to regain tail authority, locked into about a 60* angle nose down. I didn't understand that situation, I hit CR at about 6' altitude and the heli snapped leveled and launched skyward released CR at about 60', again tail authority disappeared and the heli started rapidly pyroing. I flipped in 40% SL and hit TH, autoing down onto slab of concrete hitting fairly hard, but, NO DAMAGE to the heli.
I brought her into the house and started checking things out, I had fogotten to tighten the rear boom clamp on the tail servo and the front clamp which was tight wasn't enough to hold the servo with torque load on the tail rotor after the rapid pyro stop.
Thank you CR, saved me most likely a complete rekit plus a battery pack at the angle and velocity she was traveling when I hit CR.

Sorry guys, I really wish I had this on video to show you, it was a real exciting flight. ITs amazing how much stuff flys through your head in these kinds of situations.
