Kind of what I was thinking. I need to swap parts around, so what better way to learn. I have a great working heli now so I am not worried about mistakes.

I guess my question is. If I am going to build a hot rod MCX2 what parts should I put on?

1) Carbon fiber tail with weight
2) Aluminum Swash plate?
3) Aluminum Frame?
4) Aluminum upper and lower heads?

I have just read through so many mixed reviews on these items I am not sure what to do.

It will fly great and the rest is pretty much just bling

I found this thread and it is a large help but the explanation of the mechanical trim is a huge help. May help others as well.

Looks like you are well on your way to an enjoyable R/C hobby...

My guess is within 2 weeks after you get the mCX2 all done, you'll be ready for a single-rotor heli...maybe even CP
