Default Goblin opposite side Battery Tray Lock Suggestion

Lynx...I would like to suggest you guys make a battery tray lock piece for the opposite side of the goblin frames..

It seems the CF that they mount too tend to break and you are either stuck swapping frame sides or replacing the frame if you already went through the trouble of swapping them already...

You can not use the stock metal lock on the opposite side as the lock will then be upside down ..

I am sure I am not the only one who would jump to get one if you were to start making them...

Just sayin

You could also market it as a "double security" feature since it can still be used together with the one on the original side - until one of the side breaks.

What about something made of spring steel that bolts to the frame behind that piece of cf that breaks? That way you get the lock but it's not stressing that tiny piece of cf.

I like this idea because it prevents the snap problem from ever happening(saving otherwise perfect side frames from needing to be replaced).

Exactly. But it would probably require drilling a couple mounting holes into the frame side.

His wife just had a baby. All projects are on hold except existing pilot testing.

Sooooo?

Are you done supporting SAB heli's....as I see you are not even going to be making replacement main gears for the Goblins for your own hub that people bought... and still use......( so you guys might want to pick up a couple while you can still find them)

I'd like to see this too, I'm left handed and find it a bit of a pain to get the packs back out again. No big deal really, but still...... and some skids for the 500 sport that are like the g380 skids to get the tail off the ground a bit more.
