As an FYI for anyone wanting to do the firmware update to fix the problem. If you follow the instructions and download the file you WILL need to correct the file name if Horizon hasn't corrected it yet. The original file name is/was JRVERUP0001-0101.JRD

You will need to rename the file and delete the number string from the file name. The correct file name should be JRVERUP.JRD instead. Just did it and the file loaded into the transmitter no problem.

Correction, the file loaded but the problem is still there! My curve still shifts with the throttle trim in all flight modes.

They never said it was to fix the throttle trim issue.

AFAIK it was to fix an issue with the VTail tail type in the plank menus.

Ok that explains that.

I purchased what I thought was the American version, it came complete with the DSM2 module and receiver, not DSMJ. The model name on the back is NET-P111ES. Works fine of course.

so I suppose some dealers are selling a different 11X package, outside america?

Default throttle trim

Hey guys, was setting up my throttle curves on the transmitter and noticed that if the trim is in the middle that it recognizes that as 0? and if it is at the lowest position it recognizes that as -14. am i doing something wrong here? on my dx6i the lowest position on throttle trim is 0. Does this work diferently on JR radios?

Thats the way it works, make sure you have the trim centered during setup

I usually put my trim all the way down during setup. I adjust my carb for full closed with the trim all the way down. Engine start happens somewhere around half trim (center), then you have the full trim range to adjust.

Hi guys!

I'm trying to update my JR11X, but on the Horizonhobby's site it says hold the bottom left bottom switch while turning on TX.
Which bottom left switch are they refering to?
Cheers!

Bottom left button.

There's 4 buttons down the side of the display on the left, hold the bottom one down.

Trims or sub trims have nothing to do with the update.

Hi guys!
In the swash mix menu you have
AILE +60% (+/-)
ELEV +60 (+/-)
PIT +60 (+/-)
What are the (+/-) mean? or used for?

Changes the direction of that function. For example, if the swash tilts right when you give left aileron input, you switch it from +60 to -60. The value (number) controls the overall throw.

What Travel Adjust and Reverse do for a servo, your swash mix does for a CCPM function. So if you lower AILE it lowers the throw of both servos associated with the AIL function. Same with PIT, it manages all 3 servos for your collective pitch function.

I know, but on the JR11X you can highlight the +60 and change it to -60 or what ever number you want. But you can highlight the (+/-) as well and change values.
I wonder what the (+/-) are for or what do they change?
Cheers!

It's just a quick way to reverse the direction of movement.
