Lol I was thinking about it, but all my videos look the same man haha. It flies really nice though, and it's on rails for big fast maneuvers!

It's a great deal IMO. I noticed that the Super HV Combo came down $100. You get a lot for the money. I know that we all upgrade the crap out of our Align Helis, but with this combo Align got it together, it looks awesome.

On my HV version, I switched from the LiFe pack to a 2600mAH 2S lipo today (to take advantage of the HV). I put a total of 20 minutes of flight time on the heli and only put 260mAH back into the lipo. Sweet, right?!?! That was just casual flying around with some loops, flips, and a little inverted, no kind of hard 3D or anything. Should give you some idea of power consumption by the HV servos though. I did see a substantial increase in speed of the servos going from the 2S LiFE to the 2S lipo. More chattering too. My 12S flight packs seem to be doing very well too. Again, I'm not a 3D guy, but I started out with my throttle set at 85% and that was giving me just under 2300RPM. It seemed a little twitchier than I'd prefer so I backed it down to 80% throttle which gave me about 2100RPM and it was much less twitchy, and of course the lower power consumption upped my flight time. At 5 minutes and 85% throttle (no governor), I've only been putting about 2100mAH back into my 5000mAH packs. I'm really liking this heli. TONS of power! The growl it makes when the rotor "farts" going through prop-wash is awesome! It'll wake you right up! I just wish I was a better pilot. This thing is way more capable than my skills currently. Thank God it's rock solid. More sim time.... more sim time.... |

If you have to step down the voltage for that AR7200 (which would be sort of silly since you have HV servos), you could use a Castle Pro BEC. I believe they're good for about 20 amps and you can run pretty much any size lipo you want up to 10S, I think, to it. Hope that helps. |

http://www.spektrumrc.com/Products/D...ProdID=SPM9531 True dat, I run my BeastX strait 2S voltage on my Nitro, no problems at all. The Beast operates safely between 3.5V and 8.5 V per spec manual.

UAL Driver..
I'd be a bit weary of that switch.. It most likely doesn't failsafe to the 'ON' position.. Is there any sort of pin switch for electrics that fails to ON? I've had a few switches go bad on planks and to see one fail on a heli like this would be a SAD TALE! Anyway, good luck with your build! GD (WN Driver.. )
