Hi Dauste,

awsome job done ! I really like the one for your buddy...

Could it be possible to have any info's about how you managed to paint / print the black & white draughtboard ?
Do you also have the template (dimensions) for the "black cockpit" ? It's quite different from what is usually made... I love it too.

Thanks

I just put some strips of masking tape over the area and drew the draughtboard design by hand in pencil, cut through it with an exacto and picked out the odd squares and sprayed it black. Picked out the other squares when it was dry and just went around the edge to create the shadow under the tear.

The black screen is the stock Furion screen and the other one was painted on the same shape. Some other Furion canopies are here: https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=108343

Thanks for the info's

I just tought you were using a "printed" template for the draughtboard... What a job ! but the result is worth the effort... ;o)
I've an old X-cell 60 and I am looking for an original deco for the canopy... The black screen looks too good... I'll try to reproduce it.
Thanks for the link.

Since I used to own a Mini Titan, I thought I would paint a canopy for it. It's all Auto Air.

Well here's my third one which I did for a friend of mine... I used a three stage pearl black with a gold flake top clear coat....
It can only really be seen in sunlight .....All standard 1 pack car paint, through the airbrush.. ..
Any one else find this get's quite addictive...

Default 30 min job

Here's what I did in about 30 mins with some tamyia paint and some drywall fibre tape, you can see I rushed it but I wanted to see what it would turn out like. what could you call it " off shore carbon fibre " or aome sort of reptile...?? Its my first try.
Cheers
