RESOLVED - NOT A ISSUE NOW - Beware Flying-Hobby.com shipping charges ripoff
Hi, I ordered a Align 700 bag and a blade holder from Flying-Hobby.com in Hong Kong. I used a instant PayPal link to pay. The product were $85.00 and they charged me $255.00 shipping. I didn't relize until I looked at my email from PayPal. I immediately tried to cancel the order on Flying- Hobby web site before the order payment was processed but the site wouldn't let me. I sent a message right away. Then I got on the phone with PayPal they tried to call Flying Hobby but it is just a automated phone message. I then setup a dispute with PayPal and also sent two emails to Flying-Hobby.com to cancel my order.
$255.00 for shipping this is a crazy amount totally overcharging.

Ordered from flying-hobby before.
Never had anything like that happen. I'm sure youll get it sorted out.

I hope they sort it out $255.00 for shipping is a total rip off.
PayPal has been excellent so far.

I've used flying hobby many times. Always had good service from them.

Resolved !! They refunded my money. They said there system calculated wrong.
PayPal was excellent. I would always pay with PayPal.

I reordered with Flying Hobby and they said the item is already shipped. With a normal shipping charge. So all is good.
So it looks like the original shipping charge was a mistake.

A good lesson learned without costing anything extra...
PayPal's payment procedure allows and asks that you verify the charges to your account...first they show you the total charge, then ask you to verify the total charge A great system...and a good idea to follow it without click click click as a habit |
