Chameleon blades

I am looking for some new blades and just wanted to know if anyone has tried the Cermark Chameleon 325 carbon fiber blades. They look like decent blades i just wanted to know what you guys think.

I've tried the 500 size (425 or 430mm, can't remember).

Their finish is bad. The worse I've seen of any blade. But the blades are straight (both). And they are as stiff as the Pro 3D and Stealth blades. Bought in packs of 3 or 5, they are good for beginners.

I really love the Chameleon 325 blades. They are the lightest blades I've tried (at about 18 grams each). I just bought a bunch from leaderhobby after trying one from my LHS at $19pr. They're light enough that I can experiment with different covering material on them for fun I also like the sound these blades make.

That sound you hear is fluttering ... and it's no good

How are you certain its fluttering? These feel stiffer than Aligns.

To me it seems the slightly louder whooshing sound from these blades are caused by the airfoil design. Its quite thin at the trailing edge. Probably not the most efficient airfoil (thus the more eminent whoosh) but its very light and flys very well.

I know because I have flown both the 325's and the 425's ... Both flutter pretty significantly.

Yes you're right, it does flutter a bit more than other blades, particularly during negative pitch maneuvers.

My theory on this is because it has less stability due to less weight... they are the lightest blades I've ever measured for a 450 size heli at about 18.4 grams each. I've been wanting to laminate different designs on the blades using monocote covers, so I figure the extra mass should help with stability.
