600XF + Edge 120 Crazy Bogging
Hi All,
I'm not really sure where to post this, as there are a lot of variables at work here... Setup: Trex 600 Pro Skookum 540 CC Edge 120 HV KDE 600XF530 Esc Settings are: Current Limiting OFF Motor Timing Low I've tried a freq of both 8 and 12khz I'm using the Skookum internal governor, using the Aux wire of the ESC as an RPM output. Under hard collective punch-outs, sometimes it seems as though the motor shuts off completely, resulting in a mega-bog. While bogging I can hear a pretty loud chirping that sounds almost like too-high governor gain. It doesn't do it all the time. Take a look at the image attached. In the circle labelled 1: SK540 asks for full power (Black line - Throttle Input) ESC starts to ramp up power (Blue line) - Current increases as well (Green line) to match power output Suddenly the power drops to around 60%, while the Throttle input remains pegged at 100%, power drops off, as does current. Circle #2: 540 asks for full power Esc gives full power properly (It actually reached 100%) Thoughts? Things to try? Thanks for the help! |
