Default 6HV 10t vs 11t

I picked up a Revco 11t with the intention of using it with my HW esc. I recently moved to a Jive HV before using the 11t. My goal is to get the most efficiency with the gov that I can, not so much the wildest headspeed. Is there an advantage going with the 11t from stock with my new setup considering my intended goal?

FYI- I fly around 2100rpm.

Thanks!

I think 11T is your best bet. It's my understanding that the 10T is good up to about 2050 governed. I know 10T works fantastically at 1950.

with going up a tooth on the pinion and running a governed head speed (im thinking 1950 in idle 1 and 2200 in idle 2. and running th 11tooth pinon on a cchv80 am i going to end up having short flights because im using a govenor?

I've read a bunch about the 10 vs 11 set ups with the stock motor. The concensus is basically what The Bum offered. I like to run ~2100, so the 11 tooth by report is a better option. I'll hopefully have some values to share soon.

You're looking at around 6 minutes at 2200 with good packs and a mix of sport and some 3D

Ya you really need 11T to make it go. I have 12T in stock but have never installed it just crazy power governed 2150 on 11T Castle 80....

I recently changed to 11t and won't look back 2150 governed on cc80hv gets about 6:30 putting 2000-2200 back into 3000mah packs. Sport with mild 3d.

+1. Love the 11t. I set my throttle at 70% and letter rip. Can't believe how much go it made. It made a new heli out of it.

the stock pinion is a 10t one, it also causes the heli to make a geary sound which i really hate.
i have a 11t revco and it really was worth the money, higher HS and no more geary sound. overall the heli is quieter.

BTW- I've got ~12 flights with the 11t pinion and I'm VERY pleased. I get >2200rpm at 85%! To me, it flies with less bogging and it seems to hold and track more precisely. Well worth it!

Thats funny, as i think 1900 sounds scary fast. I used to run 1850 but now knowing a bit more about escs and input capacitors and phase currents and such, i think ill bump it up into the low 1900s for this season.
