Default T-rex 500L dominator violent wobble....

I have a trex 500l dominator. I had a fairly small wreck the other day and I replaced the blades, a ball link connector, the rear torque tube gears, mainshaft although it wasn't necessary and the feathering shaft( not necessary also. Everytime I spool it up it shakes violently and when powering down it shakes really bad. I have the pitch set at 12 degrees. What do I do now?

Check your tail very carefully. You may have bent the tail hub or the tail shaft. Make sure your boom isn't bent. Even the slightest bend will cause massive vibes. Make sure all your bearings are still smooth. Main shaft and main grip bearings are often damaged in a crash.

Try spooling up with the main blades removed. And while I know it sounds silly, make sure all blades are mounted correctly. We had a guy try to fly with one main blade mounted backwards...vibrated like mad.

You guys are on point with my other answer in the "what did you do to your 500 today" thread

Always blades off when looking for vibes or spooling up indoors.

ALWAYS BLADES OFF!

Stay safe

Check main rotor dampers.

What helped me a lot of times, even after a smaller crash was:

Put everything back to pieces and then reassemble. This takes a lot of time, but the pressure of the crash, that went into the pieces, goes out.
