Default 450 3d to x conversion

Ok... everything I ordered to do the conversion has arrived. The ar7200bx & satellite & the last of the rotor head parts got here today. I found & downloaded all the manuals, and other stuff I should know for the project. I should have everything I need. I think. So... there it all is. Now I had a drink & was going to get started... Then I started thinking... This is going to be quite a project. For me anyway. Once I get started... It will consume me. I wont be able to think about, or do anything else until its completed. It will take me... oh I don't know... maybe month or so??? I don't have a lot of free time. So... I am staring at it, & wondering... am I ready to jump in, or should I wait? Wait for what??? I don't know... maybe the helicopter fairy will come around when I'm sleeping & do it for me. Hmmm... Maybe I don't want a helicopter fairy to come around when I'm sleeping. Or any other kind of fairy for that matter. Maybe I should just go & get started. If not on the project, maybe another drink.

I have completely rebuilt the 450x in about two and half hours to three hours. The hardest part is cable managing. It's not very difficult to do. You might spend more time fine tuning the 7200bx than building the heli.

Wouldn't think it's going to be a big deal at all. Swap the head, put the bx where the tail gyro goes, level the swash and set 0 pitch.

If you have been prepping by watching beastx setup vids on YouTube then you shouldn't have any problems. Use the beastx settings in the 450x manual and there shouldn't be any fine tuning necessary. May seem confusing at first but once you've been through it a few times, you can setup an AR7200BX from scratch in just a few minutes.

Never had the 3d so don't know where the rx is mounted on it, but the wiring on my 450x was easy as pie so I say go for it

Did the conversion a year ago.. Mechanical conversion was easy, and BeastX setup using the manual is straight-forward. YouTube is your friend!
