Default Head Speed less than 2100 RPM = new tail pulley

Is anyone using the smaller tail pulley H0049-S (26 tooth) for head speed less than 2100 RPM?

Goblin Maual v1.3 page 33
However, if you prefer flying at low/medium speed [< 2100 rpm], for best results we recommend changing the tail pulley for a smaller one to increase tail rotor rpm. In this way, you will have extremely precise tail control even at low RPM. This pulley is available in the upgrade list [H0049-S]

I have it, I just haven't installed it yet. I'm having tail wag issues, so I'm gonna install it tomorrow. I will let you know if it helps.

Thanks Mate, I'll be interested to hear how this smaller z26 tail pulley works as well. Thanks.

Cheers,
TomC

Not sure why this would be the case? Could you do us a favour and give us a link to that thread. Thanks Mate.

Did a search & read about the tails & tail pulleys but did not see anyone using the Z26 tail pulley.

Was referring to the cross post. If he has a wag due to binding, or ESC Gov, then increasing the speed of the tail blades will make it worse. Encountered this multiple times, have wag, flip into Idle Up, higher head speed = wag worse.
