Default Wiring!

=] God it's a nightmare getting it all into the one area, then I ponder the expense that is concentrated in an area most prone to mishaps??!

this is as neat as I can get it as hard as I try., I guess a closing panel would make it neater!

SK mounted on PU gel with supplied strap, soft wires into the SK from the bus, bench vibes are looking good, flight pack should be with me this week, opted for nano-tech's. I just can't get the Gens-Ace, this is what I want to use but they are like rocking horse s**t even at the factory??

Is that a 500? Whatever it is it looks very neat and tidy. I think too neat can sometimes cost ease of use and loss of functionality; after all I build them to fly them.

Georgi,
I have a question about the jumper you are using, why are you using it? I have the same RX pack as you and I don't use the jumper.

The three wire setup looks very neat.

I'd really like to know just by what measure the vibrations to the SK unit are reduced by this setup as opposed to connecting directly to the SK.

=] by far this part is important to get right, with a possible ( normally 4 servo, ! esc, ! phase sensor, single bec supply ) 7 wires into the SK this is reduced to 3 wires, a full size servo uses much stiffer wires, the sensor wire is nearly rigid!

the bus cables are flexible and transmit ( if any?) less vibes.

Hmm... I've got eight stiffer wires (22 awg if i'm not mistaken) going into the SK.

4 servos, esc, 2 bec cables, hyperion phase sensor, and a half-working external LED.

One of the bec cables is sharing the esc port via a Y-harness. The Y-harness is long enough for it to be of no hinderance to the SK unit. In fact the other bec cable is also in a Y harness- this one splitting to give power to the main telemetry system. (The secondary telemetry system draws power directly from the battery's balance plug.)

If I had a larger heli, I'd go with the power bus just for reduced vibes, but as things are, on my 550, vibes without main blades are well under 1 on the log file, so I'm hoping they'll remain comfortably low enough when actually flying for me to not need to use it.

=] all credit must go to you Castel, its one of the few single things that makes such a huge reduction with vibe control, brilliant bit of fathoming!

Yes, top marks and full points for coming up with that...

I'd have thought that skookum would have told us about this actually.

Maybe they didn't since there's the servo cable mod involved. (Or connecting items in 'incorrect' ports on the power bus)

In any case, well done.

Same here... What we missed is careful study of the power bus pinout and it's implications, Heathy. I'll be rewiring my 6HV when I get back from this business trip.

Either I completely missed it, or it wasn't there to begin with. But if it was available, where was the pinout diagram to be found?

Just curious...
