Default My boom graphics

I wanted to try some boom graphics on this build to help with visibility. Orange seems to work best for my eyes. Didn't want to do a solid wrap as others do, so this was my solution. Kind of a pain to apply evenly, but it didn't turn out to bad. Needed to get these on so I can put the tail push rod guides on.

Nice. Where did you get the materials from?

Got them from a local guy. He mainly does stuff for planks, but he can do just about anything you request. Was about $10.00 for everything and he gave me one extra of each piece.

Looks good! It's a nice bit of detail.

I find that the massive diameter of the boom helps quite a lot. At the opposite end of the scale in boom diameter terms is the Kasama Faifa which is so thin it can start to disappear at a distance.

I got the brightest orange flourescent tape I could find and ran some down the boom (this tape is about 1cm wide). It really helps a lot.

What did you put on your blades to make them visible? Do the holo stickers work well? Never used them.

Self sticky monokote florescent orange or yellow works well.

I used some white adhesive vinyl sheet on mine. I cut out about 2 inch wide stripes with a pinstripe and made sure they were all the same weight etc.
