I was wondering how you would kept the skid pipes from turning on the landing Skids mind is always turning right to left or left to right the nuts kept it from moving back and front , just wanted to know how other fix the issue,Thank's

Glue works fine

Look on the skid where the pipe goes through. There is usually a "nub". File that down and drill a small screw through that portion of the skid into the pipe.
Repeat for the other side.

I did drill and tap for a 2-56 set screw

i have gorilla struts they fit tight and dont need glue or screws

500 and 600 have grub screws

I turned the back skid around so their both facing outwards looks a bit wonky, if you bird is tail heavy like mine with no battery the tail always tilts back mine has even fallen of the table because of it, reversing the back skid makes it sit dead flat tail doesn't touch the ground at all when just sitting on your table.

Also stops the skids from spinning

I always just turn them back to where they should be and don't worry about it.

Super glue if you're that worried about it. Just fly.

I use a soldering iron to gently roughen the inside of the pipe holders. They are from the beginning a perfect fit, so the slightest roughness makes the fit tight enough to not allow the pipes to twist or slide out.

LOL Thought I'd seen em all... heheh never say never right.. gotta say that is original and worthy a look see.

I used the Bump Resistance Landing Skids [HS1144-00] from ALIGN. Those can take the Gorilla-Footed-Big-Stomp-Test (GFBST) in an effort to Bust-em-Up (BEU). They help up well and didn't bust but no not a comparison to Gorilla Gear but not has soft either so there's that!

Anyhow yes I did digress, wanted to say they hold on to the skids pretty good besides being pretty strong. Wouldn't say they need modding to hold on to the skids better but they could be better. So I'm going to try your idea on the and see what happens. Maybe that's just what they need to make em perfect.
