Did you power down your Tx when you cycled power to the FM?
It may be reacting to a loss of signal from the Rx

It is important tokeep in mind particularly in the case of smaller hellis is that they usually come with 2-3A rated BEC, usually incorporated in the ESC. From my experience with FM the draw of current exceeds that resulting in a significant drop of voltage. On a 450 size heli I installed a 5A external BEC in order to cope with the overall power requirements.
