Default New 450 3GX Pro V3 release?

So is there any word of a new 450 kit being released that comes standard with the DFC head, DS415 servos and maybe even the new tail pitch slider?

Thinking about picking up a kit, but not if there's a new release on the horizon...

I'm curious when it is coming too..

If it's coming soon enough I'll use my existing PRO for my Airwolf fuselage instead of buying a sport. Then I'll just buy the new PRO to replace my existing pro.

I'm also waiting for a 450 Pro DFC Super Combo.
Sold my 450 Sport two years ago and went bigger (T-Rex 500, 600 and 700). Now I would like to try a 450 size again.

No, nothing official yet.

I'd bet they'll do re-kits of the others in the line first. The 450V2 was the last kit to get an update before they started going DFC. The 450V2 has only been out for 6-12 months... though it's probably the most popular size in their lineup, they'll probably have a lot of unhappy V2 buyers if they turn around and change it so soon after it was released.

250 first (posted now, it was the longest between kit refreshes)
700 next, already been mentioned this is coming. It was also a long time between refreshes

Then the order of their last refreshes
600/550
500
450

Hello. I just started flying an mcpx and am looking at a larger heli, an Align 450 or 500 FBL. I've been reading all the kit info and whatever else I can find inthe forums. What's the DFC head, compared to... And the DS415 servos are an upgrade how? Thanks.

If your looking at getting a TREX 450 pro v2 kit as your next heli I think it's a great choice.
Looking back I wish I would have went this route instead of buying the blade 450 first. This is a much better heli that as you get better and your skills improve the heli won't become boring or lacking and it will take a good bit of abuse too.
Only thing I can think that may be a bit of a stepping stone will be getting over the pucker factor especially if your used to an mcpx only, this will be quite a jump in size and power.
But on a positive note if you can fly an mcpx you can fly a TREX 450 pro too.
I started on one of those little Heli's so what I'm saying is from personal experience.

Good luck with whatever you decide and I'm sure it will be a fun learning experience

DFC is a performance upgrade it increases the roll rate. I ts well worth the money but if your just getting into flying it may be a good idea to wait until your skills are a little bit honed

Thanks. You're right. Roll rate won't be an issue for awhile.

I went straight from a MCPX to building my 450 Pro v2 3gx. The MCPX is such a good trainer for going on to a larger heli. Bite the bullet and just do it! First time I turned on my 450 and got it hovering my heart was going mental!!! Its the best feeling. I warn you though, after taking this step it wont take you long to start eyeing off the larger heli's!!

So since the 450 DFC swash is hitting most dealers, surely it's not too far out for an updated kit now??
