Default Thinking about giving up on my 400 in stock form?

I learned to do more than hoover on a 400 and the 400 has a special place in my heli line up. I have always told myself that I would keep it 100% stock except maybe a odd canopy here and there.

BUT, I am so sick of the stripped servo's. I went for a quick flight this morning. I am fortunate enough to live on 5 acres and have a ton of room by just walking out my back door. I went to roll it to the right and it just twitched then rolled hard to the left into the ground.

I am looking at 2 stripped servo's, feathering shaft, main shaft, fly-bar, main gear and another canopy and possible new main blades. It is getting old fast. When I was just learning by practicing hoovering nose in and stuff it was fine but now that I can do some minor 3d I am constantly working on it. The fact that I have a Blade 450X V2 that just works without issue does not help. I am gonna keep it but I am going to upgrade it maybe with the servo's the 450X has if possible? Thanks for letting me vent guys

The servos on the stock B400 are terrible. (So's the gyro.) Upgrading them makes it fly so much better. I understand wanting to keep your first heli stock (I kept my B400 stock for a long time, then took it all the way to flybarless, and it flew fantastic--very light so low disk loading), but if you're gonna fly it, you might as well make it a good, fun to fly bird.

My .02.
