Default smashed up king 2

hi all
my not so smart friend brought a crashed king 2 for something like £60 form a friend a friend who knew his stuff
yep its my job to make it fly so first thing is the motor has been smashed off its mount, blades are wrecked and the tail fins are both snaped
so the king 1 2 and 3 are discontinued, my thorts are to buy an hk250 frame and build a slightly under powered but perhaps flyable heli for him. ive not looked into it but looking at my tr250 i can see the esky giro wont fit so perhaps an assan mems giro, the king 2 motor is brushed and perhaps to large for the frame so im looking at a new motor and esc. anyone swaped over the electronics from a king into a 250 frame wanaa chime in on what to expect..i dont think he wants to spend to much as he is yet to learn to hover the heliguy atom i recomended him to master before going any further and buying stuff he knows nothing about
im also in the middle of fixing up an esky kob which was also brought broken by him and to make things worse he connected the lipo wrong and burned out the esc

it dose get worse he also brought a crashed and clearly damaged mini pred with the old style lipo charger which has led to many fires.the lipo was soo puffed it was fit to pop, just looking at the head i said do not even attemp to start this thing up..it was mashed and very very very badly setup he went home and promply ignored my advice of staying the hell away from that lipo and started up the badly damaged pred

why me

i spoke with him today and he no longer want me to patch the king.i went though the options of changing to a hk250 frame and pointed out the motor was to large so he will need a small brushless motor and new esc, also i pointed out the servos wernt desighned for the new load a brushless setup will put on them so hes now putting it up for spares and repairs
any takers sent me a pm then i will contact him monday and go from there...since its still at my house he may let me just deal with it and i will give him the money if/when it goes
cheers
antony

sorry to hear about all of your (and his) bad luck! sounds like someone needs to be shown "how to" do it himself. (not being rude by the way)
good luck!
