Well I finally maidened my Vibe. Thanks to Finless, Pinecone, Barracuda and all those who posted all the valuable information that allowed me to ensure my build was perfect. Our local expert went over the bird yesterday and there were only minor radio changes to make.

I had four flights and the only problem that popped up was the clunk line fell off the header tank. Nothing happened and I still have to investigate why this happened. I used Hayes line the same as on my Raptors and it never fell off any of them.

It flies great and I hope to get many more in over the next few weeks.

Thanks again for all the help. :o

Hi,

Thanks.

The head is Hyperformance Hypergrips. The alloy parts are mostly JR parts.

And the CF parts are Custom Heli Parts from ReadyHeli.

Regards,
G

I didn't even know that JR brought out upgrades for the v3d!

Thanks for the info, now it's my turn for some upgrades!

I am confused about these two parts:

I know this: http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...odID=JRP961180

but where do you fit this part? http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...odID=JRP961291

Those 2 parts do the same thing. The first one is the one I got because it works just like the original plastic one. The second one does the same thing, but it "hugs" the ball on the swash plate as oppose to a link and ball combo.

Hope this helps.

Ahhh I thought so, weird to have two upgrades doing the same thing! I also think the one that you got is the better option!

DARN YOU GORGIN, you put me in an upgrade frenzy now!!!!
