Default Is SAB Heli a new shell of Outrage

(1) Why only Helidirect is doing Ads and making pre-orders for it
(2) The arab guy usually flies Outrage only

So is SAB heli belongs to Helidirect like Outrage?

I am looking to buy a 700 size heli, this SAB Heli seems all of a sudden jumped out with so many Ads. I am scared.

Default Sab is Italian

So no. Sab just chose Helidirect as US distributer.
They have been making blades for a long time.

There are other places selling the Goblin, not just Helidirect.

"The Arab guy"(AKA Tareq El-Saaidi from the UAE) also flies SAB blades, so it's not that surprising he's been chosen to promote this heli(not to mention the fact that he kicks ass!)

SAB doesn't have a relation with Outrage... HeliDirect has a relation with both, but SAB is an Italian company with a long history.

If you're wondering about a shell conspiracy -- the ones that materialize with a new name and logo to shed a crappy brand reputation -- me thinks Pulse (batteries) might be a new shell of Outrage (batteries).

We all know how those orange Outrage packs turned out. They might as well have had a cylindrical, curved shape, with a dark brown wrapper to match how it (the batteries) ended up performing. Not many bought the Outrage NRG packs because of the (orange) Outrage reputation.

I bought a few Pulse packs just to try out, and the IR on all started around the 8 mO range vs. 2 mOhm range for Thunder Power. Thunder Power IR stays the same, or even goes lower when charged in the same conditions. Pulse IR keeps rising. Just for kicks, I bought a Pulse 2S 2550 mAh lipo for a TX. No worries, since the TX draws as much current as a flashlight. Well the IR on first charge was 38.5 mOhm and 36.9 mOhm. And oh, the mailing addresses for Outrage and Pulse aren't the same, but both are within miles of each other in the Boston area.

Now, there's your shell. At least one of them.

Nice observation Sheep! Pulse packs do suck. Any team pilot or sponsored pilot that says otherwise is just lying to themselves and talking crap to the rest of us. I know of a few and won't mention any names.

As written, no conspiracy... check out what HeliDirect / Outrage does.
The Goblin is a typical European model. The US market is important for sure, but for electrical models like the Goblin it's pretty easy to see it's target audience. There's no Chinese company behind.

All this kidding around aside, there were such excellent points of the Outrage heli designs. I still think they have the best tail mechanism I've seen yet. A Fusion 90e might just be an awesome prospect, but I'll likely fly a Goblin first. It does look very interesting, and not just the tail boom box either.

Default Outrage tails

I thought the outrage tails stripped all the time? I have a friend that has crashed at least 5 times because he strips the tail gears .

I have about five gallons on my Velocity 50 with zero problems with the tail or gears. My tail is the old design. My ball links will need to be replaced soon though.

Default His is the 90

Not trying to start anything. Just reporting what I've seen. His 50 is much better in the tail department but has stripped gears in that too. He probably has 20 gallons through that.
