Default Flybarless reciever

Has anyone tried using the reciever from v400 d2 and put it in another brand flybarless heli or even in a flybar heli?

I do believe there have been a few, most seem to use the rx2702v. I have the 2702v in a couple heli's.

I have the V200D03, which is also FBL and uses the RX2618V-D ('D' for Devo version).

You can swap them around if you want. Probably the best one is the rx2622v from the v120d02s. You'll need to get servo extensions/converters in order to use the micro 3-pin plug. Others, like the v400 and v500 fbl units, are great to use on other larger helicopters, like the align clones, etc.

They actually aren't bad fbl systems. They fly well, and are very stable as well.

+1
I agree with jonbailie, they are not bad fbl systems.
You could put almost any of them in anything, any size. On rcg there are several threads of people doing this very thing. It really depends what kind of flying you want to do with the setup.

So has anyone used a new devo receiver on the v400d02? I've been waiting for awhile to make the switch.

I know that the version is out, but I haven't seen anyone selling just the receiver yet. Looking for that so I can add it to my v400
