Deliberate and smooth. Nice flying Preston!

One of the most underrated heli's out there, but it's just a hoot.

Good vid Steve, thanks for sharing. Hope to see you guys in a few weeks

Excellent flight dominator. What motor, ESC, servos, and lipo are you using on your 550U?

Sorry for the late reply guys. It's got the scorpion 4025-1100, yep150a, Turnigy 5000mah 60c, outrage torq servos, and a spartan vortex. To me it's the best all around 550 heli. I've gone through a lot of different helis and this is one I don't see my self selling unless something better comes out. All the other 550 helis have some downfall but I have yet to have an issue with the 550u

I just saw the 6HVU build videos posted by Sebastian on YouTube... Here is the first one (out of around a dozen):

6HV Ultimate - Assembling - 1 - Rotor Head 1 (5 min 3 sec)

Excellent flying Dominator. I feel bad for those packs though. I noticed the 550U is harder on the packs than the Chronos/7HVU... They come down warmer but I already expected this. What headspeeds are you running in the video and what pitch?

Thanks cyclo. I'm using turnigy 5000 mah heavy duty packs. They do get a little warm but I also flew some pulse 4500 packs that got a lot warmer than the turnigy. But I've had these packs for a while and they still have a low ir. Head speed in that video is around 2300. I also use 2150 and 1800 for some cruising around. Pitch is 12.5-13 somewhere in that range

Dominator I have a question about the lipos you are using... Are they these ones from HK?: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...Lipo_Pack.html

Do they balance well with the 550U? I am currently using Gens Ace 5000 mah 45C which are for the Chronos/7HVU. However I am thinking of getting dedicated packs for the 550U. The Gens Ace I am using are relatively long (160mm) and I still have to set them a little forward to get perfect CoG. I am looking at the Turnigy Heavy Duty (linked above) and they appear to be 40 grams heavier but are stubbier so I think they might still be easy to fit and maintain perfect CoG.

I just got a 4S 6600 Turnigy with a hard case that weighs 818 grams... Just as advertised on the HK website... I will be using this for low HS flying.
