mine is all tight, never been a issue. I think the carbon boom lets the clamps hold better in fact, maybe they just totally got your boom all wrong

Seems like it. The carbon fiber boom is 1/8" shorter than stock(no big deal) but it's definitely a smaller diameter. Can't get the servo clamps tight enough to stop the servo from sliding. Got a stock boom on now. Just charging the tx so I can do a set up.
Got an email from hopmeup(apparently they were on holidays). Said they were sorry I wasn't happy with my purchase. I pinned the boom to stop it from sliding so I can't send it back.
