Default TT Tail case

Has anyone converted a Torque tube tail to use a belt?
Also, where is the best place to find the flanged bearings?
Thanks in advance!

This has been discussed on this forum before. Try searching. Though the verdict of most converts was that the conversion wasn't that great for higher headspeeds. Don't think that many people are running the belt option to be honest. The only advantage you"ll get from a belt is crash resistance.

Still have not found flanged bearings for the tail side plates...did mount it up and seemed to work O.K.
Upon inspection after the test, found that all of the 2mm shaft keepers were missing from the links on the slider...did I spin the tail too fast and sling them into the next county?

If your still having trouble finding the flanged tail case bearings, we carry a few dif grades of flanged tail case bearings for the X5, I use the steel ABEC-5's on my X5.
