Default goblin 500, 4025 fits

since it has larger bolt holes, I reamed the oem bracket, and grabbed spare 630/700 motor screws

Since bolts build more and cant be countersunk, I put the 3 shims needed, on top of the main gear owb stack, to shim it as far down as possible, so I could move the main pulley down a smidge

No need to cut canopy

LOL ... that thing is going to be a rocket.

I think Bert said he tried this motor as well, and it was overkill, but worked. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts. I have one sitting on my work bench in need of a home. I am planning on using a Pyro 600-11 in my 500 ... should be here by the end of the week.

Are two bolts enough you think?

Mine bolted right on with the stock screws no need to widen the holes. All 4 fit fine. only issue I have is the shaft length, it needs to be cut down as the battery barely clears it. In a crash, you could potentially puncture the battery. Now I have to remove the tail belt, remove motor mount and figure out how to cut the shaft. Any one have any ideas? I was thinking a drimal but that might take a while since its hardened steel.

Tape the motor up completely so you don't get any metal shavings into it and get a thin cutting wheel, should only take 5min.

Default Thanks Guys...

Just saw a video on YouTube on how to do it.

BTW: My motor is the HKIII-4025-1100. That is probably why mine was a direct fit.

I cut my shaft today. Extremely easy with a dremel and cutting wheel. I used a zip lock bag and blue painters tape. After cutting and making the flat on the shaft, take a blower and blow the ziplock so there are no metal particles stuck on the bag just in case.
