Default Help with a noob purchase

I am in the market for my first helo and a guy offered me a deal and i think its good. But i was hoping Someone pretty knowledgable wouldn't mind looking at the list and price I was offered and let me know of its a good deal. I can send a pm with what they offered.

Doesn't matter much. Once you get your first heli plan on spending thousands on the addiction. LOL. Post the information and we can give you some feedback. Dont worry we like to talk and you will get a ton of info.

Post the list and the asking price. Up close and detailed photo's will be very helpful.

Then we will pick the deal apart

That said if you are just getting in to the hobby, I would suggest buying new. Nothing sucks more then a being new and trying to trouble shoot problems with used gear.

I disagree a bit. I bought used 450, 500 and 600 to earn my wings from the good folks at helifreak. Real glad I did. Was super economical and really lowered the fear factor. Key for me was simulator. Besides there are some fantastic deals on the sale section. I did have a few friends that helped with sorting things out a bit so that is why I say I disagree just a bit.

I would have to disagree! I think that buy used is a great way for someone starting out to get started. There are great deals out there on Used equipment. Sometimes someone starting out get turned off buy the high $$$ Just do you homework and have someone who knows what there doing help you out.
