Default Battery chargers???

Is there a sticky on intro to batteries and battery chargers here in the newbie sections🚁?

I've read about Feild charging stations, power boards For dc power source. I am uncertain of which brand has a better history and is beginner friendly. Any advice or direction to another post would be helpful.

The charger brands that most people talk about are Junsi iCharger and Revolectrix Powerlab, you can’t go wrong with any of those brands.

I use a Thunder Power Charger.

Watch video on youtube for setup and charging information.
Great affordable charger.

At home. I use a solar cell hung in a window to charge an old motorcycle battery 24-7 in my nitro field box and a large deans connector quick connect to the charger. Works great.

At the field.
The field box goes with me! I wired a headlight relay so that when the car is running the relay closes and charges the bike battery. When the car is off the relay opens, disconnects the bike battery from the car.
I have a nice 12v supply at the field and it's isolated from my car battery so I'm not going to kill my car battery and have to walk home!

It's not fancy but it works great.

Word to the wise… buy the biggest charger you can afford.

The same holds true for TX's except you easily go overboard on TX's.

I got stuck in both the charger and TX loop. Not so bad with chargers though. I learned my lesson by buying four TX's in six months.

Only ended up buying two chargers.
