That stinking wobble
I can't seem to get rid of that stinking wobble. I have changed the main shaft and the blades and it is still there. What am I missing...

If you haven't tried this already -
Tighten the screws so the blades can't pivot, then pick the heli up, flip it onto it's side, then slack the screw off just to the point where the blade drops under it's own weight. Works for me... but this whole 'fix for the wobble' thing seems to vary from one heli to the next. |

Check the blade grips.

Check TX to ensure that "wobble" is not set to enable
The above was meant as pure of course and not to be taken in any way seriously..... |

Dang it, H-C.
I just wasted an hour lookin' through my DX6i's menus for "Wobble". Then I read the second line of your post.

Flybar worn
Your Flybar needs replacing. It has reached its usefull lifspan. The center hole has elongated from wear.
Alternatively , a sleve of heatshrink over the main shaft will take up the slack and stop the 'wobbles'. |

44, I'm afraid Mr. Bugeye is possibly just another of those poor souls who sees any attempt at injecting humor into cyberlife as a tyrannical act of trollmanship ... sad, eh?

Heli-cat, don't sweat it. Half the posts could be considered trolling if the literal meaning of the term were applied. Heck, every thread would only have one reply.

Thank ya, John!
I just think that nothing-but-information with no humanizing tends to make for very antiseptic and sterile (as in dull-as-dishwater) forums. |
