Default Please Help! Rx & ESC issue

Please help, I just upgraded to the Align 35X ESC now my receiver won't hold binding. I can bind the Rx but after it takes and I power everything down to enter the ESC setup, it loses bind.

I've searched the issue but everything I find is regarding the mCPx which isn't very helpful

Setup info:
Spektrum R6100e Rx
Spektrum DX6i Tx
Align 35X ESC
Futuba GY401
Hitec HS65HB X3
Futaba S9257

Any assistance is appreciated because I'm about to put my head through the wall.

My memory is dim on this, but I think you may just have a sequence of operations problem.

It has to do with the sequence in which you power down after binding--whether you power down the heli first or turn off the TX first. Or pull out the binding plug. Something like that. You have to do it in the right order. Whatever sequence you're using, try another one and see if that helps...

Good luck.

After binding; remove bind plug then power of heli then tx.

Is it not binding or not initializing? Maybe the receiver isn't seeing zero throttle input and a throttle calibration is need for the esc.

Thanks all, got the ESC programmed after finally getting the Rx to hold a bind.

The real problem was that I left the Rx in the heli and I couldn't read the inputs on the Rx

I had my ESC powering the Rx through the bind port which caused the Rx to go into bind mode every time the heli was powered up...

I guess it helps and you don't get as many complaints back from her when you put it in the right spot.
