Personally, I wouldn't bother with a second plane until your more confident in flying. Then I would expand my hangar.

At the moment, I would concentrate on building up a suitable stock of "crash spares" and some extra batteries. That way if you do crash you can be up n running an hour later !

Yeah don't bother. Them Sport Cubs take a beating. Snapped one in half - just glued it back together. Flies as if nothing happened.

Here's what I do; I started a few weeks back with a Sport Cub PNP.

Master Takeoff, controlled flight, controlled landings. And THEN think bout new aircraft. Well okay I lied I already think about that now, and I have already decided BUT I won't buy that thing until i can safely start, fly and land my Cub. After that it's fair game, but I think its just not woth i to have two beginner planes.

Take a look at the Hog Wild plane. The thing is next to impossible to destroy and will fly in 40mph wind. I purchased one and on a very windy day I did my maiden. The other plane guys in the club thought I was crazy. After a minute they were amazed at how well it handled the wind. Now we have another one in the club with more to follow. You will fly this thing when all the other plane guys wont fly their planes.
