Can I use 550 mm Blades on an X5?

Hey Matt! Nope, the 550s are too long. Edge 523's are a PERFECT match for this bird. Get a 15T or even a 14T pinion and go nuts.
I fly 100% flat throttle with a 14T pinion and Edge 523's and she's a BEAST for 5min flights... put back about 70% into the packs. You want 4000mAh+ packs... Did you get it yet?

I will be getting it this weekend when I get back into town as long as everything goes as planned. I am STOAKED..
This will be my first NON-ALIGN heli and i love my align birds... |

Isn't that the truth. I've flown heli's for almost 7 years, all align with the exception of my very first heli a Hirobo Sceadu. I now see what others see in brands besides align. No knock on align but get ready I thought my trex 550 was my all-time favorite until I built and flew this thing..........freakin rocks! Needless to say I sold my 550 and couldn't be happier!
