Default Fusion 50 vs. Furion 6?

I still can't decide.. surprise.

Furion 6:
- 600-620mm blades
- Belt
- Avg. Ready-to-Fly Weight: 6lbs-6.3lbs - 2.7-2.9kg (less Batteries

Fusion 50:
- 600-640mm blades
- Torque tube
- RTF weight 3.2kg-3.6kg (7-8lbs) depending on electronics used

Other than that they have about equal specifications. Why one or the other?

Choose your poison. I've got the Fusion 50 (still unflown, but I got to fondle one over the weekend that's flying) and my friend Bobby has the Furion 6 (which I've flown). They are both excellent machines, each with clever design features, and both have great support from their respective vendors.

That's not helping, is it?

I went thru the the same dilemma, but after researching the cost of replacement parts and parts availability... it was hands-down... Fusion 50!

12s=Fusion 50
Anything else, toss up.
By that I mean toss up for you, not for me.

Why do you say 12s = Fusion 50? I'm planning a 12s = 2 x 3300 mAh 6s.. something.

The front canopy mount has a "break away" tab, just like the back one. I'm not sure what you mean about using CA...?

The Furion was designed, as I understand, for 6s-10s. There is a balancing act for 12S. It's been done, but MA did not test a 12S setup.

My friend's is set up on 12S, and the CG is fine with both 2650 and 3300 packs. No issues, and stupendous power (4035 series Scorpion). Again, I'm providing no help whatsoever for the OP, as there is no clear winner in this race. They both rock.

I have never seen the quality of the fusion in person. However I own a furion 6 and the quality is bar none the best I've ever seen in a heli. I just hope I come into some money soon and can keep mine.

I would grab a furion 6 instead. The direct servo arms are much superior to bell crank (IMO). Less parts to replace, and the frame just looks simple to work with. MA has great support and the company owner is always on hand to help and listen.

The result was a tie.

I decided I don't really need a new heli, and they are expensive.. I bought two more batteries for the 500s. And some other nice upgrades I might not need.
