Default gaui 425

when I moved up from clones I had narrowed it down to a gaui 425 or the thunder tiger e325 mini titan. I went with tt, now that parts are getting scarce I think I might go with a gaui. now it has been awhile since I had my heli out because of health problems but I love to fly. can someone please tell how well the quality & performance of a gaui is compaired to a mini titan? it just seems like thunder tiger might not be around much longer. and I just don't much care for align or blade products. thanks for any replys. ( sorry for the poor spelling )

Unfortunately, The entire Gaui Hurricane series ( the 200,255,425,and 550 ) has been discontinued. If you want a Gaui brand helicopter you will need to look at their current "X" series helicopters. ( the X2, X3, X4, X4II, X5, and X7). You might still find a left-over Hurricane 425/550 kit but they also discontinued parts support for them in Nov. 2014 I believe.

I still have and fly 5 different Gaui Hurricanes and love them. I have lots of spare parts on hand and also found that many of the X4 and X5 parts will work on the old Hurri's.

Sorry, don't have any experience with Thunder Tiger so can't compare them.

Default heli

thanks for the come back! well I guess I need to look around & see who is happy with what they have & parts stock. the only thing I don't like about align it the tail slider. it looks like the ones on the clones & they have a lot of slop in them. and I think blade is just over priced, but I must say that years ago I bought a blade mCX, 4 ch. and the thing has worked great from day one. ( just wore out some batts.) thanks again!!!

Like Jerrymac said, there are some of us old holdouts that still fly the 425/550(ME TOO!) and still have a limited supply of slightly used or NIP parts left...

What's a 90% never flown 425 worth with a few upgrades. I have one I've never finished and probably never will. It maybe time to part with it..

^ don't know but if some of the x model parts fit heck I might be interested in it. I just need to do more research on it, I looked at some ebay tt parts & they seem to have most parts for now. maybe gaui is the same way, going to go looking.
