A quad rotor heli like the 330 is a better choice, trex's aren't really known for being vibration free, lol !

The 700 is absolutely configurable as one of the most stable helis out there. The bigger the better as far as that goes. But you need to decide if you want to invest that much money into it, as it sounds like this will be your first big heli. Unless you can beat the odds (most of us didn't) then you are likely to experience a crash or two along the learning curve to whatever type of flight you are attracted to. Many people opt to move up the size spectrum more slowly: from 450 to 500 to 600, etc. But if you an afford a 700E right now, then you certainly won't be sorry with how it flies!

Also look at a stabilization system, such as the Helicommand HC3-SX, which is a FBL controller as well. Or you could add a separate one, such as Co-Pilot II

If you can afford a 700e right now, you'd be better served by purchasing a logo 600se.
They run much, much more vibration free than the 700e, and are over 2 pounds lighter with the same packs and 690mm blades you'd use in the 700e.
I've got a buddy using one for AP, he flies it at as low as 1000rpm, and gets over 15 minutes of flight time . Takes gorgeous, super smooth high def video with it too.

As AP forum definetly going lighter is better, as you want the max flight time and the lowest headspeeds you can run etc...

probably need a different forum, but owning a dragonfly and a number of trex, I would say this.

you wont regret the 700, but a dedicated and well built/designed quad flyer IS ALWAYS BETTER. The 700 is intended for F3C and 3D flight. I promise you that even the designers at Align would use a quad flyer platform if the CEO gave them an aerial photography challenge.

BTW, much of Shark Week is filmed using Trex 700 nitros. Especially the Great White Breaches!

Again, 700 good. Quad flyer the best
