Hi All,

I haven't posted in a while - I was living in New Zealand and bought a Compass 7HV a little over 2 years ago. tldr; I moved to the states, Minneapolis shortly after. Finally in a position to work on my hobby again.

I've just shipped my Heli's over, expected delivery in a few days.

So - I have a 7HV Ultimate that has been hovered twice. I'm thinking of;

a) Upgrading to the chronos or;
b) Selling the frame and buying a new Chronos kit or;
c) Going to another manufacturer.

fwiw - I love building these things as much as I love flying them, hence me considering a fresh build.

Current kit (photo's have old esc);

RJX Servos
Skookum 540
Castle 160a
Compass V2 Motor

What do you think? What sort of price can you get for frame these days?

If you enjoy building much like I do then I would order a new chronos. By ordering a new one instead of upgrading the 7hvu you get a few extra nice things like the shiny hardware. The build is easy and enjoyable.

Also the kits experience rc are stocking now I believe come with rage blades and motors which are a great value if you want them.

Yeah, that seems like a fantastic option.

I might try to see how much I can sell my current kit.
