I did not like having FM0 set to straight 0 because if you accidentally switch to FM0 during flight, you are going down!

Of course you are correct, I had reset the FM0 back to the Castle recommendation of 30 flat immediately after your last instruction.

I tried 0, 30,30,30,30 and that worked, but thought I read another post around here talking about moving the 0 throttle pulse to a different switch. I found the post and now have my arming pulse (actually Throttle Cut set to 0%) on the trainer button. So, Yay, don't have to bugger up a Flight mode to arm this combo, and I don't have to worry about going to FM0 in flight.

Thanks guys, Bitchin' help!

Just thought id give a big thanks to Waff for this. I followed the instructions at first, but had the same problem with no initialization after removing the batt with TH set to 22 for Auto Bailout. Thanks for clearing that up guys.

Using the DX6i and arming the ESC by pressing Throttle Cut, that way i can still keep Normal and IU with flat curves. Fantastic Tip!

One thing if note is make sure you set your Auto Bailout feature, you want to raise the headspeed change speed up, as the default 5 is way too slow.

I would follow the instructions but I don't think it will be bad to do what you are saying. Remove mains and tails till its all set up
