Question Trouble with Dx7s Buddy box.

Ok so ive been doing the buddy cord with some friends at the field I used a friends Dx8 with my Dx7s as the Master first with my Compass 6Hv then with a Blade 450 3d and it all went well this was about 2 weeks ago
So then I wanted to try it again Saturday another guy had a Dx8 but this time it wouldn't work Every time I would hit the trainer the swash would move right? So we did it with a DX5 and the swash move corect until we pluged in the motor and made it airborn. Id give it to hime and it would wanna nose dive Hmmm?
So I have a DX7, tried it on that and the Dam swash moves right servo falls.
Now ive had the Dx7s as the master(P-Link) and the Dx7 as the slave (P-link Slave) what am I missing Thanks if you can help me it's fun to help new guys and they get a kick out of flying a BIG Heli

Use p-link on the master and a blank/default model memory on the slave.Do not set the slave to Slave just leave it at INH.
Before powering the model plug the 2 radios in and adjust the trims on the slave so there is no movement on the Monitor of the Master when toggling the trainer function off/on(pushing button).
