Default DYNAM Simulator 6ch

How is this compared to the other simulators out on the market also I noticed that you have to down load a different file if you have windows vista,,,7,,,,or 8.....It looks extremly cheap is this one of those cases you get what you pay for?

The Dynam controller is a controller that plugs into your PC's USB port and lets you control certain simulators. It is not a simulator. However there are some free simulators out there and one of these comes in the box with the Dynam controller. I think it's called FMS (Flying Model Simulator)

The Dynam can be used with certain other RC simulators as well. Some are free, some are inexpensive, and other cost a lot. For example I used to use my Dynam controller with "ClearView", which is a decent RC simulator for about $40.

The Dynam and a cheap RC simulator will get you started... but after a few months you'll probably want something with a more realistic feel. Most of us have gone through this. When you get to that point there are several options and plenty of discussion on the topic.

The Dynam controller works great with helisim. Its free at marksfiles.com. You have to tweak it to make it really fly good though. It also works well with heli-x in linux. Those models lack enough adjustment though to make them fly great with the Dynam controller. It has too much expo built into it with no way to get it out.

I am unable to get the Dynam controller to work on Heli-x? How did you do it? I'm on Windows 7. I can get close, but it rolls out of control when I give cyclic. Can you offer any assistance? Thanks a bunch.
